I have an hourglass figure and I do think it gets you male attention if you wear fitted clothing, especially the larger boobs with smaller waist combo. But it does also get you sexualised constantly, even if you are all covered up and not trying to get attention. In my early/mid 20s, when my shape was even more obvious than now, I was leered at a lot even when dressed down and feeling shy (and even though Id say my face is average). Ultimately, everyone has their own insecurities - I wish I had the longer, thinner legs like the skinnier women, for example.

Generally, an hourglass figure is seen as sexually attractive to men and suggests high fertility. But people in reality find different things attractive. Some men like very thin women, some men like athletic women, some like big women. I don't think an hourglass is always treated differently - sometimes, women who are tall and slender and look elegant are treated best…
